The present study aim to design and implementation electrical circuit of impedance plethysmography. Impedance plethysmography technique requires the attachment of four electrodes around a limb, two of these called current electrodes for passing constant low amplitude of alternating current through the body segment and two of these called sensing voltage electrodes for measuring the voltage induced across the tissue. The electrical circuit of impedance plethysmography was designed using MULTISUM (version 11) .MATLAB package (version .2012a) was used to plot the gain and phase shift of signal generator illustrated as frequency response for band pass filter. Measuring the changes in blood volume by using Kubicek's Equation experimentally, and ECG recording for each normal voluntary, then the blood flow was calculated. The physicians can detect blood flow disorders from impedance plethysmography signal such as arterial occlusive diseases and estimate severity, early stages of arterioscleroses, functional blood flow disturbances, deep venous thromboses, migraines and general arterial blood flow disturbances experimental. In this experimental work an ac current of 1.00mA and 100 kHz frequency is applied through two electrodes called current electrodes and the produced drop voltage is measured by other electrodes called sensing voltage electrodes. The resulting bioimpedance (Z) and dZ/dt were successfully measurement on lower limb of (10) normal voluntaries. The results of blood flow measurements were satisfied with publication data.
