The field of knowledge representation is one of the most important areas in Artificial Intelligent research. Researchers have spent many years developing and experimenting with different types of knowledge. representation schemes in their quest to develop more appropriate representation of knowledge for various types of applications. The Type of knowledge representation that is appropriate in a given situation depends on that sort of knowledge which is being represented and how it is to be applied. In this work titled frame Based System for Personal Computers ( FBSPC) s frame based system for the storage of personal computers information wat designed and implemented, such that the system is capable of accepting new computer types and; represents their features in flexible and efficient manner and makes use of the frame based knowledge representation method features such as inheritance, exception and attribute packaging. The system suggests and implements a hierarchical data structure that encompasses most features and knowledge to be stored about personal computer types. Turbo Prolog programming language ( version 2.0 with its toolbox was used as programming language as well as using it to provide flexible and friendly user interface . The system is characterized by its modularity and portability. The system will be run on ( IBM - AT - 803S6 computer ) or any other IBM compatible r machine provided with MS-DOS (Version 6.20).
