According to the agreements of development of the scientific research movement between the educational institutions and the international diligent universities,Presidency of Al-Nahrain University receives an academic delegation of the Iranian Amirkabir University.Their meeting is held by the attendance of the president of Al-Nahrain University , Prof.Dr.Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib ,the scientific and administrable assistants of the president of the University ,the deans of College of Political Science and College of The biotechnologies ,the director of the Cultural Relations Department in the Presidency of University ,on the one hand. The responsible for the international programmes in the Amirkabir University of Asian area and representative of this University , Ahmed Al-Mosawi ,on the other hand.
This initiative completes the previous initiatives by which an agreement is made between the ex.minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Al-Shahistani and the Ministry of Science and Technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran and this agreement is generalized by the current minster of Higher Education and Scientific Research ,Abdul Raziq Essah for all the universities of Iraq during his attendance to the Amirkabir University and meeting the president of University.
The Amirkabir delegation visit for our University seeks to the cultural and academic exchange between the two universities in the field of the preliminary and higher studies as well as the exchange of the scientific experts ,researchers and the teaching staff.
Besides ,Al-Mosawi stresses on the research side,hoping for the cultural an academic exchange between the two universities and cooperation between them through a memorandum signed by the partners to enrich the scientific side , exchange of the scientific experts and making courses and symposiums.He points to the multiple preogrammes in the field of the scientific and research cooperation by training students of the College of Engineering for a month during their Summer vacation in Iran to be aware of the workshops ,libraries , the industrial groups in Iran.
At the end of their meeting , they have agreed to send a number of students of Al-Nahrain University to the Amirkabir University for the summer training to enrich the future plans.
