Instructors of College of Political Science /Al-Nahrain University : Asst.Prof.Aula Abdul Ghafffour Muhammad ,Asst.Prof.Dr.Muhammad Kareem Kadhem and Asst.Prof.Dr.Nassir Muhammad Ali publish a book entitled "Principles of Politics".This book aims for defining politics which is a human science interesting in the political activities studies of a human such as the governorship and voting operations ,the political pressure and formulating the political parties such as parties, the interest groups and others.
This book includes three chapters. Each one covers the departments of our College:
· Strategy
· International relations
· Political Systems
Chapter One defines strategy ,tactics ,strategic planning ,alliance ,polarity and its types ,sphere of influence ,arm race ,balance and its types, containment ,the collective security ,conditions of collective security system ,terrorism ,its causes and its types, war on terrorism , the theories of strategy ,strategies ,power, wars and geopolitics. Chapter Two deals with the definitions of international relations,
the historical development of international relations, actors of international relations ,levels of analysis ,theories of international relations ,the international relations and the other fields of political science ,the power of international relations ,the power and war ,the cooperation and the international integration.
Chapter three deals with the political system which is a social system plays many roles , it has many functions depending on its vested authority and it has many branches of political system representing the legislative and executive authorities and political parties.
This book is a beneficial curriculum for the academics of the political and social action attempt developing the linguistic skills of the students in their specialization.
