Lecturers at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Nahrain University, Publish a Scientific Research Paper in an Iinternational Peer-Reviewed Journal.

Lecturers  from the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Nahrain University—Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Sahib Zaboon, Dr. Aya Fawzi Talib, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Murtadha—have published a research paper in the International Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Research entitled:

“Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Toward Pharmacovigilance and Adverse Drug Reaction Reporting.”

The study aims to evaluate the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to pharmacovigilance and adverse drug reaction reporting among pharmacy students at the university, as it represents one of the key elements in enhancing patient safety and ensuring the safe use of medications within healthcare institutions.

The results show  that students possess a moderate level of knowledge and practice in the field of pharmacovigilance, along with positive attitudes toward the importance of reporting adverse drug reactions. The study also indicates  that specialized academic education and training contribute to strengthening practical application and improving reporting behavior related to adverse drug reactions.
