Al-Nahrain University has obtained institutional accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with a three-star rating, after fulfilling the standards of the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation. This qualitative achievement reflects the university’s commitment to implementing comprehensive quality standards and enhancing the environment of education and scientific research in accordance with the approved national regulations.
This accreditation comes as the culmination of a series of developmental measures adopted by the university at the academic and organizational management levels, including updating administrative systems and consolidating institutional performance standards, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directions to advance the level of Iraqi universities.
The University President, Professor Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, affirmed that obtaining institutional accreditation represents a pivotal milestone in the university’s background and reflects the magnitude of efforts made by the teaching and administrative staff in
promoting a culture of quality and adherence to approved academic standards.
