Al-Nahrain University celebrates the graduation of its students in the 32nd course (The course of Excellence and Creativity) during a central ceremony attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abdul Yasser Al-Aboudi; the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi; the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf; the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada; the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad; the President of the Middle Technical University, Prof. Dr. Waddah Amer Hatem; the President of Al-Naji University, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi; the Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Dr. Ali Maseer Yassin; the Director General of the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Hazem Abdulrazaq; the Director of the Department of Media and Government Communication, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi; as well as a number of academic and administrative characters and the families of the graduates.
In his word during the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister announces the achievements accomplished over the past three years by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research affirming that the progress achieved in Iraqi universities — including the internationalization of education, the enhancement of quality standards, the rise in scientific research indicators, advancement in international rankings, attainment of global recognition in the medical field, in addition to the building of an advanced digital system and the attraction of international students .All these represent the fruit of sincere national efforts that have made higher education a cornerstone of development and reform.
His Excellency also reaffirms the Ministry’s commitment to continuing the development and modernization of academic programs and to strengthening institutional integration in line with the progress of higher education institutions, in order to meet the needs of the labor market in both the public and private sectors.
For his part, the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, expresses his gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister for his continuous support of the university and his close follow-up of its academic progress. He emphasizes that the university takes pride in its graduates, who represent the fruit of scientific and academic effort and embody its mission of preparing qualified individuals capable of serving the nation with knowledge and responsibility.
The ceremony included a parade of graduates, words by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and the students’ representative, as well as the recitation of the graduation oath, the awarding of certificates, and the honoring of top-ranking students by His Excellency the Minister.
