In a qualitative step towards the digital transformation in line with the directions of Presidency of Al-Nahrain University and the Central Library for depending the most modern international systems in managing the libraries .The Library of College of Medicine starts applying the developed Koha system to manage and classify the books, dissertations and theses by direct supervision of Dean of College of Medicine ,Prof.Dr.Enees Khelel Neil with the formation of the specialized work team to pursue the execution of the project and guarantee achieving his aims according high principles.
In this regard, the library organizes a training workshop for its team and the head of the librarians ,Zainb Muhammad Musah presents an introductory lecture about the system including a detail explanation of the mechanisms for Koha using and its advantages in facilitating the process of indexing and electronic borrowing as well as it improves the quality of services which is presented for the students and the researchers.
This step comes from the efforts of the library of College of Medicine to provide an advanced research environment which meets the requirements of the academic development and gets along with the international principles in information administration.
