According to the scientific cooperation agreement between Al-Nahrain University and Malaysian National Tenaga(Energy) University ,Dean of College of engineering ,Prof.Dr.Ayad Mared Taghah receives visiting professor ,Dr.Fares Basim Ismail al-Neemy,a director of Smart Energy Generation Center in Institution of Power Energy(IPE)/ Malaysian Tenaga University.This visit is regarded as a scientific visit which aims for enhancing the research and academic cooperation between two universities.
Dr.Faris Neem starts his visit with a meeting with presidents of research groups in college in which a discussion of achieved research progress for each group is done with a presentation of the major challenges .In addition, the discussion of the perspective visons is done to develop the research performance which go on with the primaries of the continuous development.
A visiting professor also presents a specialized scientific lecture entitled Green Vehicles and Electrical Power Generation
It sheds light on the integration of green components and modern electric energy techniques generation, focusing on the innovations in electric and hybrid components , as well as their role in reducing the carbon emissions enhancing energy efficiency through their connections with the renewed energy systems.
The visit concludes with a meeting with the Heads of Mechanic Engineering and Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Departments
by which a cooperation agreement is done in a number of fields. This includes participation as an external examiner as well as contributions to scientific seminars and discussion related to higher studies students.
This visit comes as part of Al-Nahrain University's directions towards academic openness and the attraction international scientific expertise, supporting its research progress and promoting prospects for international scientific cooperation.
