نظّمت كلية العلوم في جامعة النهرين مؤتمرًا علميًا تحت عنوان “العلوم الخضراء: جسور نحو التنمية المستدامة”، والذي ركّز على دور العلوم البيئية والتكنولوجيا المستدامة في دعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز الحلول البيئية المبتكرة.
وشهد المؤتمر، الذي حضره عدد من الأكاديميين والباحثين والخبراء، مناقشة أحدث الأبحاث في مجالات الطاقة المتجددة، وإدارة الموارد الطبيعية، والتقنيات الخضراء، وتأثيرها على الاقتصاد والبيئة.
وأكد المنظمون على أهمية تعزيز الابتكار العلمي والتعاون بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية والقطاعات الصناعية، مشيرين إلى أن الاستثمار في العلوم الخضراء يمثل خطوة أساسية نحو مستقبل مستدام.

The College of Science at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific conference titled “Green Science: Bridges to Sustainable Development,” focusing on the role of environmental sciences and sustainable technology in supporting sustainable development goals and promoting innovative environmental solutions.
The conference, attended by a number of academics, researchers, and experts, featured discussions on the latest research in renewable energy, natural resource management, and green technologies, as well as their impact on the economy and the environment.
Organizers emphasized the importance of enhancing scientific innovation and fostering collaboration between academic institutions and industrial sectors, highlighting that investing in green science is a crucial step toward a sustainable future.
